How to find your PPO number
Step 1: Login to www.epfindia.gov.in
Step 2: Under Online Service, click on the Retiree Portal

Once you have entered the necessary data, you will receive your PPO number, member ID and type of pension.
How to check pension status

Step 4: Click on “Know your pension status” which is mentioned on the right side of the page
Step 5: Select office, office ID, PPO number and click “Get Status” to get your pension status.
Verification of the PPO
Please check the retirement allowances included in your PPO as soon as you receive it to ensure that they are accurate and comply with applicable regulations. According to the Pensioners Portal, “In the event of any required correction(s) in the PPO, please contact your office manager/pension paying agency to take necessary action in this regard.”
What is the system for assigning 12-digit PPO numbers?
According to the Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO), “The following system is adopted for assigning 12-digit PPO numbers.
