We are looking for ambitious, hardworking and qualified staff to manage outgoing invoices; invoices and receipts on behalf of the company.
Responsibilities
Assemble, review and verify invoices and verify claims
Report and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
Sort, code and reconcile invoices
Set up invoices for payment
Enter and upload invoices into the system
Track expenses and process expense reports
Prepare supplier payment schedule
Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and billing issues
Maintain supplier files
Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries
Produce monthly reports
Assistance with month-end closing
Provide supporting documents for audits
Maintain accurate historical records
Maintain confidentiality of organization information
Accounts Receivable tasks include:
Receives completed purchase orders and prepares sales invoices
Codes purchase orders with account numbers by product sales/classifications for cost of goods sold, enters purchase orders into computerized accounts receivable system. Prints billing invoices daily and sends them to the client.
Prints weekly and monthly statements and sends them to customers. Prints, verifies and maintains accounts receivable invoice registers, sales and cost of sales reports, open and aged reports and journals.
Checks monthly totals of sales distribution, sales history and returns. Coordinate closing with the General Manager of Accounting.
Communicates with customers regarding their billing and assists the Credit Manager in collections.
Performs other accounting duties as requested by the Controller.
Qualifications
Accounting background.
Years of experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role obtained in a well-structured organization.
