Yoru may soon receive some much-needed changes, according to the popular VALUING leaker Mike on the ValorLeaks Twitter account. The redesign release window was then confirmed by Riot’s Coleman “Altombre” Palm.
The first person to shed light on the upcoming Japanese Agent update was Mike, who tweeted that the overhaul is “targeted for release during patch 4.03.”
Since then the post has made its way to the VALUING Reddit, where Altombre gave his two cents.
The developer said that while patch 4.03 would be an ideal release date for Yoru changes, patch 4.04 is more practical.
“Just as a reminder, this is yet to be determined – there’s a very good chance this will push another patch to 4.04, pending bugs / clarity / prioritization,” Altombre said. “At this point, the big conclusion I would take from this is, ‘Yoru’s changes won’t be rolling during patch 4.01 or 4.02, but we’re trying to release them as soon as possible.” I think 4.03 is a good one. aspiration, but Act 2 (4.04) is probably more realistic.
This statement also confirms the planned release date for VALUING Episode four, act two.
Yoru is currently in a poor state of repair. The agent is rarely chosen, especially when it comes to playing professionally. While VALUING Champions 2021, which ended in mid-December, has not been chosen once, according to VLR.gg.
In early December, Riot outlined the specific changes he wants to implement for Yoru. The developers want players to have “better tools for deceiving their opponents, a stronger base value in their kit, and a higher impact per turn.” To achieve this, they will mainly work on its Fakeout and Gatecrash abilities.
Episode Four begins January 12 in North America, which will also mark the release of patch 4.01. If the developers want to update VALUING every two weeks, just like in 2021, that means Yoru’s changes could be implemented as early as February 9.
