Global stock markets have yet to bottom and are still in a bearish phase, Goldman Sachs analysts warned in a recent note, who expect a bumpy recovery until the worst is over. The top three reasons why a true bear market bottom has not yet been reached, they say, include their belief that inflation and interest rates still have more room to advance; economic growth is likely to weaken and valuations and positioning are not extreme.
