PERLE, Miss. – The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency Enrollment Admission Centers in seven counties will remain open for Veterans Day, November 11, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Those who live in Amite, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Pearl River, Pike, Walthall and Wilkinson counties may be eligible for individual federal assistance through FEMA. The deadline to apply to FEMA INDIVIDUAL Help is December 22, 2021.
All centers WILL CLOSE ON NOVEMBER 13, 2021 at 4 p.m.
Normal opening hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday noon – 4 p.m.
Before arriving at a registration reception center, please have the following information below:
- Social Security number
You, another adult member or a minor child in your household must have a social security number. You or they must also be a U.S. citizen, a non-citizen national, or a qualified alien.
If you don’t have a social security number, read the article How do I apply for a new social security number card or a replacement card. You will receive instructions on the procedure and the documents you will need.
- Insurance Information
Describe the type (s) of insurance coverage you have. This could include coverage under policies such as home, flood, auto or mobile home insurance.
- Damage Information
Describe the damage caused by the disaster. Include the type of disaster (such as a flood, hurricane, or earthquake) and the type of dwelling or vehicle (such as a condo, mobile home or house, or car or truck).
- Financial information
Indicate the total annual income of your household, before taxes, at the time of the disaster.
- Contact details
Provide the address and telephone number of the property where the damage occurred as well as the address and telephone number of where we can reach you now.
- Direct deposit information (optional)
If approved, funds can be deposited directly into your bank account. You must provide the following banking information:
- Bank name
- Type of account (like check or savings)
- Routing number
- Account number
